Welcome to Cannock Community Radio. Run by a group of local radio professionals, our purpose is to apply for and run a full-time FM Community Radio Station on a 5 year licence for the Cannock area, including the towns of Hednesford, Heath Hayes, Great Wyrley, Cheslyn Hay, Norton Canes.

Ofcom have begun the third round of Community Radio Licensing, and will consider our application late 2013. "Cannock Community Radio" online provides a sample of the kind of radio station we could soon provide, and includes Local Information such as News, Weather, Sport, Local Community and Charity events and showcases music by Local artists. If we are awarded a Licence, we aim to start broadcasting November/December 2014.

Soon you'll be able to listen on your iPhone or iPod Touch with our new App. Add it to your device now, just follow these simple instructions -

Open Safari (Internet browser) on your device. Go to i.chasefm.net

When the page opens, press the options button (bottom middle) and select "Add to Home Screen". Job done!

We Stream simultaneously at 128k Stereo and 48k Mono, if listening via mobile internet you may get a more reliable connection at the lower rate.

We aim to give a voice to local businesses. We are the only radio outlet to provide locally targetted advertisements to the Cannock Chase area. You get to support our promising new radio station and tell our listeners about your products and services.

Because our running costs are currently quite low, we're offering very cheap locally targetted advertising, both on our webstream, and on this website. Other sponsorship deals are available, but we only have limited slots so please email pete@cannockradio.co.uk

We are a Community Interest Company - once our costs are met, any profit is reinvested to allow us to provide a better station for Cannock.
